Terms and Conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE — SARALÉ
This website sarale-paris.com (the "Site") is published and operated by SARALÉ (the "Seller", "we", "our", "us"). These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (the "GTC/GTU") govern access to the Site, its use, as well as the sale of products offered on the Site to consumers (the "Customer", "you"). By browsing the Site and/or placing an order, you acknowledge having read and unreservedly accepted these GTC/GTU.
ARTICLE 1 — SELLER'S IDENTITY / CONTACT
SARALÉ. Registered office: 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France. Customer Service Email: contact@sarale-paris.com.
ARTICLE 2 — PURPOSE
The GTC/GTU define the rights and obligations of the parties within the framework of the use of the Site and the online sale of products offered by the Seller.
ARTICLE 3 — SITE ACCESS / USE
You agree to use the Site in accordance with the law, these GTC/GTU and the rights of third parties. Any illegal, fraudulent use, infringement of intellectual property rights, or aimed at disrupting the operation of the Site (viruses, intrusion attempts, malicious codes) is prohibited. The Seller reserves the right to limit, suspend or refuse access to the Site in case of breach of these terms, attempted fraud or abnormal use.
ARTICLE 4 — PRODUCTS
The products offered for sale are described on the Site with the greatest possible accuracy (characteristics, materials, visuals). Photographs, videos and renderings may show slight variations (particularly related to lighting and screens) and are not contractually binding.
SARALÉ products include, in particular, a vegan leather changing bag with nine interior pockets, including two insulated pockets, two exterior pockets, and three straps included (two adjustable backpack straps and one shoulder strap for shoulder or cross-body wear). Accessories may be offered, including stroller clips, a pacifier clip to attach to the bag, and a quilted black changing mat.
Safety warning — stroller clips: using a bag suspended from a stroller can unbalance the stroller and lead to a risk of tipping, especially if the load is too heavy or if the stroller is not held. The Customer agrees to follow the stroller manufacturer's recommendations (maximum load, usage instructions), not to overload the bag when it is suspended and never to leave a stroller unsupervised when a bag is attached. This clause does not affect the Customer's rights under legal guarantees.
ARTICLE 5 — PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros (€) including all taxes on the Site. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; products are billed based on the rate in force at the time of order validation. Any potential delivery costs are displayed before payment validation.
ARTICLE 6 — ORDER
The Customer places an order on the Site according to the established process (selection, basket, information, delivery choice, payment, confirmation). The order is considered final after acceptance of the GTC/GTU, payment validation and sending of an order confirmation email. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of an existing dispute, payment default, suspicion of fraud, or a clearly erroneous or incomplete address.
ARTICLE 7 — PAYMENT
Payment is made online via the methods offered at the time of payment (e.g., credit card and other available solutions). Transactions are processed via the Site's technical payment providers.
ARTICLE 8 — DELIVERY
The delivery zone covers Europe, depending on eligible countries displayed during checkout.
The standard delivery time is approximately three to five working days after dispatch, depending on destination and carrier. Express delivery may be offered via Chronopost, with an estimated delivery time of one working day after dispatch, subject to eligibility and availability at the time of payment, at a rate of €15.
Standard delivery is free for purchases over €180. Other potential costs are indicated before order validation.
Upon receipt, the Customer must check the condition of the package. In case of anomaly (damaged package, missing product, error), the Customer contacts customer service at contact@sarale-paris.com as soon as possible, providing photos of the package, label and the product concerned.
ARTICLE 9 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with applicable law, the Customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the day after receipt of the product. To exercise this right, the Customer notifies their decision to the Seller by email at contact@sarale-paris.com or by any unambiguous written declaration.
ARTICLE 10 — RETURNS: CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURE
For a return to be accepted, the product must be intact, unused, not soiled, and returned complete with its included elements (including straps and accessories). Any depreciation resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product may lead to a reduction in value.
Unless there is an error by the Seller or a proven defect upon receipt, the return costs are the responsibility of the Customer. The return address is: 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France, unless otherwise indicated by the Seller at the time of the return request. The Customer remains responsible for the package until its receipt by the Seller; tracked shipping is recommended.
ARTICLE 11 — REFUND
In case of a valid withdrawal, the Seller will refund the sums paid, including standard delivery costs if applicable (excluding any extra cost related to an express option), within fourteen days at the latest from the notification of withdrawal. The Seller may defer the refund until the products have been recovered or proof of shipment has been received. The refund will be made via the initial payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
ARTICLE 12 — LEGAL GUARANTEES
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided by law. For any request, the Customer contacts contact@sarale-paris.com indicating the order number and attaching elements allowing evaluation of the situation (photos/videos, description).
ARTICLE 13 — LIABILITY
The Seller cannot be held responsible in case of misuse of the products, non-compliance with safety advice, or in case of external events beyond its control (force majeure, third-party act, carrier disruptions). In any event, the Seller's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and does not deprive the Customer of their legal rights.
ARTICLE 14 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All elements of the Site, including texts, images, visuals, logos, designs and branding, are protected and remain the exclusive property of the Seller, unless otherwise stated. Any total or partial reproduction, without prior written authorization, is prohibited.
ARTICLE 15 — PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the Site. Any request regarding the Customer's rights can be sent to contact@sarale-paris.com.
ARTICLE 16 — ARCHIVING — PROOF
In accordance with applicable rules, contracts concluded electronically with a consumer for an amount of €120 or more may be retained for ten years. The Customer may request access to them from the Seller.
ARTICLE 17 — CONSUMER MEDIATION (TO BE COMPLETED)
In the event of a complaint, the Customer must first contact customer service at contact@sarale-paris.com in order to seek an amicable solution. In accordance with the Consumer Code, the Customer can then have free recourse to a consumer mediator.
ARTICLE 18 — APPLICABLE LAW — DISPUTES
These GTC/GTU are subject to French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be determined according to the rules applicable to consumers.
ARTICLE 19 — MODIFICATION OF THE GTC/GTU
The Seller may modify these GTC/GTU at any time. The applicable GTC/GTU are those in force on the day of the order.
ARTICLE 20 — CONTACT
Any questions relating to these GTC/GTU or an order should be addressed to contact@sarale-paris.com.
